Hacks

Tools IPS Patches

Rock5easily created these IPS Patches with the source code provided. It is currently tested with Rockman 4. Most of them don't work with Mega Man IV unless is used with the open source .ASM file with the hex editor. Rock5easily's page is here

Other patches are also created by Insectduel

Hacks - in Progress

Miscellaneous

Mega Man 4 has not had any released hacks that extensivly alter the game on the magnitude found in mega man 1 - 3 hacks. But, there is a hack called Mega Man Ultra 2 that is currently being created by Infidelity. This will be a very extensive Mega Man 4 hack that changes graphics, music, bosses, and more. The original Mega Man Ultra is a very good hack of Mega Man 2. There is also Mega Man Forever that has completely new weapons, bosses and level designs. Wich by far seems to not only be a hack, but a completely new game.

Known Dumps

  • Megaman IV (E)
  • Megaman IV (U) (PRG0) [!]
  • Megaman IV (U) (PRG1) [!]
