  • SMB Utility -The most common utility for Super Mario Bros. Level Editing. The original version is in Japanese, however an english version is available at Zophar's Domain.
  • YY-MarioEditor -Another decent level editor for Super Mario Bros. It is also available at Zophar's Domain.
  • SMBar -A Super Mario Bros. editor that contains alot of neat and useful features. It can be directly downloaded here.
  • Mario's Beauty Salon -This is a simple program that allows you to edit the colors of Mario's sprite. Its official website can be found here.
  • SMB 1 Rom Text Editor -This is a program that allows you to edit all of the text in the game. It's mostly suited for beginners wanting to get started without having to hex edit. It can be found at Zophar's Domain.
  • SMB-Fix -This tool can fix the trainer, the no-title screen version and bad timing. It can be found at Yy's Utilities.
  • Mario Improvement -An old tool for DOS which allows you to edit your own levels. It can be downloaded from Zophar's Domain
