Data table

A Data table is a section of information within a rom organized in an orderly fashion. A data table is generally composed of entries all having the same format. Since this information is presented in a regular fashion, Data tables are among the easiest sections of a ROM to identify. In many games, information such as enemy and item data are stored in data tables.
The program Nightmare Table Editor is specifically designed to work with Data tables.
