The Nintendo Game Boy Advance is a handheld games console produced by Nintendo. The Game Boy Advance uses an ARM processor (part of the ARM7TDMI family). The Game Boy Advance utilized ROM cartridges for gameplay.




  • VisualBoyAdvance - Most well-known emulator. Has many forks and successor projects.
  • No$GBA - Focuses on emulation accuracy and debugging features.
  • mGBA - Relatively recent emulator, focusing on accuracy, speed and portability.

ROM Images

Game Boy Advance ROM images usually have the extension .GBA. Other extensions may include .AGB or .BIN.
