The following article is a ROM map for Hyper Lode Runner.
Level Map Structure
0x4C00 is start of level design.
0x4B56 and 0x4B57 is start of level pointer. (ie, 4B57=4C, 4B56=00 will begin at 0x4C00)
Tiles digits
0 - Brick
1 - Stone
2 - Ladder
3 - Rope
4 - Gold
5 - Blank
6 - Blank(glitch) - (makes 4/6 tiles structure)
7 - Blank(glitch) - (makes 4/6 tiles structure)
8 - Hidden Ladder
9 - Fall-thru Brick
A - Player
B - Enemy
C - Door
D - Key
E - Stone(glitch) - (makes 4/6 tiles structure)
F - Stone(glitch) - (makes 4/6 tiles structure)
They are put together as a byte to store in RAM/ROM (ie. 0xCDAD=20 for Ladder, Brick)
